Three Americans, Two Team Events, One Elbow
Ben Shelton pulled out of the Laver Cup to play Davis Cup in Prague five days after the US Open final. Taylor Fritz pulled out of Davis Cup and is playing the Laver Cup. Tommy Paul pulled out of both. American men's tennis has finally solved the problem of having too many good players by scheduling them into the ground.
